He's Just Not That Into You!

Okay this is my first writing prompt with Mama Kat.  I have been a blog stalker for quite some time but I have been too chicken afraid to do it.
This adorable little guy is my youngest child.  I know he looks like a little girl… Even though he wears boy clothes everyone says, “he ‘s such a pretty little girl”.  This little angel has me wrapped around his finger.  Maybe it’s because he’s the last baby, or maybe because he’s a boy I don’t know but he is such the love of my life!
Recently I enrolled us in a mommy and me class.  Since he’ll start kindergarten next year I figured we would bond and have fun this year. Kind of like a year long party for just us.  Last Saturday was our second class and I was so happy to see that he was looking forward to going.  I thought he might have been bored because he is one of the oldest kids in the class but as soon as we walked into class he made friends with this little girl who was the same age he was.  She was a really cute little girl and I thought my son has good taste in girls.
Then the travesty hit.  The class was doing row row row your boat and I said to him “Can I have a kiss?” and he said “NO MOMMY!” My heart sank and then it hit me… He doesn’t want to kiss me because of this little girl he’s hitting on.   This little girl in pink shorts replaced me. Seriously, I’m having a HARD time dealing with this.  He can’t throw me to the side because of some new chick!
It has taken me a few days to be okay with the fact that he’s just exercising his freedom and this is new territory for him.  I don’t want to be the crazy psycho mom who is obsessed with her son.  I just have to deal with the fact That He’s just Not That Into Me : (

Pottery Barn Dream

I haven’t been blogging because a new semester started for me and I’m not an uber-organized person.  My time management skills have gotten very lax over the years. With each child I became less and less in control.
Most of my classes are online but the reading is out of control. I have one class that I have to physically be there and that’s my English class. My teacher is really cool, for lack of better words. She tries to evoke your creativity and makes you think about what it is exactly that you want. I wish my kids had a teacher who really pushed their creativity and advocated thinking outside the box, but I guess elementary school teachers don’t get paid as much as college professors.
What I need is a Pottery Barn Organization System. I love this setup.  In my dream house this is a must have.

I would leave m setup exactly the way they have it.  It would make me look like I have it all together!  No one know that I'm trying to keep my sanity and my household in tact be using my iphone as my organization tool. Since I'm dreaming I might as well dream that my husband and my kids all use my system smoothly.  No one is asking me what we're doing each day and where they put their keys, backpack or socks.  Amazingly my Pottery Barn Organizer would have solved all my problem.

It could happen!
